Since he was a child he heard:

“You came into this world thanks to the Virgin.”

The doctors had told his parents, after 12 years of marriage, that they could never have children. The mother escalated the matter to higher authorities. If the doctors couldn’t resolve it… she would speak with the Mother of God.

Two weeks later… she was pregnant! She was 40.

And since she was heard… why not ask for two instead of one? Her second son was soon born.

Both are priests.

Francisco felt that God was asking him to devote himself to the most disadvantaged, women and children who had suffered all types of abuse. And he went straight to work in a nook of the jungle. Thousands benefit from his help but he assures everyone that he hasn’t done anything:

“Mary’s responsible for all of this.”
